just curious if my stage 1 download from HD is enough to go ahead and install a new set of big radius pipes,or will the computer need new re-mapping. also if the current download is ok,does anyone have anylean issues running the big radius??

youll be fine. most down loads run lean. there are tons of guys out there running just down loads on their bikes.

 

i'm not sure if these free flowing exhausts(big radius) will actually make the engine run leaner...(if left alone) or will it run richer.....i'm a bit foggy when it comes to the lean or rich issue?

 

if the big radius are installed as is,will the bike run leaner or pretty much remain as is?

 

the stage 1 down load is for pipes and ac. When i first did the down load for my deluxe i had se shotgun exahust and se ac. ran ok probley lean . went to v&h bss and it was lean. went to the htcc set up 251 cam and bss down load real lean added a dfo richened things up ok. went to 98in re-worked heads r&r 615/585 cam sert 111/114. if you havent all ready done so get the sert of power commander.
i think youll be ok with the down load just lean .
