Bassani vs. V@H Dresser Duals and Basic Slip Ons
I have a 2005 RK Classic with the Stage I and Race Tuner. I currently have the V@H Dresser Duals with the Basic slip ons. The bike sounds good and performs well, I think. The dyno sheet shows 72.7 HP and 77.6tq. I am not very knowledgeable about these things, but the bike picked up a lot of low end when I went to the V@H's. However, even though the pipes sound good, I am wanting something louder. I am thinking of going to the Bassani megaphone slip ons and keeping my dresser duals. Will I get what I am looking for and still keep good performance? How does Bassani compare in sound to the V@H? I am going to the 95 inch upgrade in February too. Thanks in advance?

Bassani is a much better quality pipe, both in build and in power, and Bassani has ALOT of bagger pipes to choose from. http://www.northcountycustoms.com

if you go with the bassani especially after the 95 inch motor, make sure you use the bassani head pipes with the power curve. use tw-37 gear drive cams with this set up and you will easily to 100hp and 100 ft lbs torqueyou will not get that with the v&h.as for sound. it is a matter of choice. i hate v&h. all except the pro pipe but it looks weird on a baggar. i do like the bassani and their performance and quality is first rate.

I am thinking the same way with my '06 Classic. Question : Is the Power Curve from Bassani the actual head pipe? I know they say the Megaphone pipes compliment the Curve, (vise-virsa) but how would the Curve work/sound with their "regular" slip ons?
