sunbill1974, unless you really have a jones to have an extended warranty from HD (sure glad I never bought one!!!), you might consider researching (and getting references) local performance shops in your local area. You'll discover many of them are former HD factory/dealer employees who put their time in there and have moved on. They typically offer REAL individual customer service, the time to educate you on performance packages that match your locale and riding style, and a better labor/parts cost due to lower overhead (no screwups to pay off, no do-rag sales associates, etc.) Yep, it'll take a bit longer, but I guarantee you'll learn a lot that will pay off in personal satisfaction down the road while some of your buddies are still riding with out-of-the box HD engine kits or waiting on cross-country parts deliveries from other builders who won't be around if trouble arises. Just a thought from personal experience. In any case, either the HD BB basic BB kit without headwork or the "whole 9 yards" will be a real kick in the pants over stock! Now jump in!

Our entry level perpormace combo's get off the ground at 100-105 hp and 110-115 ft/lbs, 95". 115/115, and more, not a problem with different cams. Pump gas, cool running, long mileage power, with fantastic fuel economy.
