I was up until 1:30 in the morning putting those bad boys on. I didn't put the left side cover on until after the install. (I didn't see that in your post until this morning). That would of helped. I thought I was all done, reaping the rewards of my labor having a cold one when I was putting my tools away I noticed a gasket on my work bench. I forgot to install the front SE gasket. I was pissed but also couldn't help but laugh at my dumb mistake. So off went the right side heat shield, rear support clamp, end cap and all of the other hardware. I didn't install the rear support clamp. My buddy works for Harley and said it really isn't needed. I like the clean look without it but will keep an eye on it too see if thier is any leaks in the rear cylinder. I fired it up and it sounds excellent. Thanks everyone for thier help. I installed the V&H Fuelpak in about 10 minutes. Talk about easy. Well I was going to go on a well deserved ride today but just my luck woke up and it's raining in beautiful Southern California. Merry xmas everyone and ride safe!

Well whats a good DIY project without a little self inflicted aggravation. The rear clamp was more of a b***h getting off than puting on the new one. As for tightening the adjustment saddle that actually supports the pipe, it was a breeze with a flex head ratcheting wrench.

It sounds though like you'll be able to test yours out before I can here in Missouri seeing as how we still have about 6 inches of snow on the ground....Grrr

BTW....what city are you a fireman for??? I'm a Firefighter/Medic in St.Louis county.

Nice!!!! Be Safe!!!

So you ready to take the baffles out of those pipes yet???? I was listening to my buddy romp mine up the street yesterday and decided I need to try it. Guess I'll have to try to find a MAP for that.
