Default 2004 1200 cylinders HELP PLEASE

I purchased a 2004 1200 sporty wreck. I need to replacethejugs and am looking for the most cost effective way. I was looking at 883-1200 kits but can not confirm if the conversion cylinders are the same as stock 1200. I was told by one person that they were designed for 883 heads and are not the same. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also are 04-07 the same?

If you do a conversion the cylinders are the same, you just have to use the correct pistons(pn22698-01) that will be compatible with the 883 heads

If your looking for more than just the conversion piston (concave), a set offlatops, N-8's, and a Black Diamond valve conversion to the heads, and it'll tune out at around 80/80 or more.
That, my friend, is a mighty quick little bike.
Your buds on the bigger bikes won't like that.

The last one we did got 93 hp with 87 torque and revved so quick it beat a bike with more hp by a heap in a roll on run. The heads were stock 883 modified with bigger intakes and cut down exhausts.
