My Old man has 2.0 rush slip on's and stage 1 with a se tune on his 07 FLSTC. the pipes have gradually gotten louder but never too loud over 9,500 miles. chrome and finish were nice and still are, have not heard many other slip ons your comparing to . he did say he wished he had got a full system now over the slip ons just price difference then.

I put a set of 2" Rushs on my 07 FB and like them pretty well. Doesn't sound like a set of good pipes but it's way way better than stock. No poping and not obnoxiously loud. Still wishing they were louder or I had a tach because at cruising speed, I can't hear them over the wind.

Looking at 2.0 Rush slip-ons for my Nightster, with the Stage 1 kit. Hoping it's not going to be too loud. I want some nice sound, a couple notches more than stock.

Parts guy said on scale of 1-10, stock would be 1-2, Rush 2.0 would be 5-6. Hoping that's not going to be obnoxious.

07 Heritage 2" Rush. Factory rep told me 2" has best sound at Idle and are not much louder than 1 3/4 when on it.
I am keeping my 2'
Loud wise about the same at the olderSE 11,but I think they are deeper, & sound better to me thanthe coupleof others I have ridden with that had them..

Love the old school Harley rumble and roar of my Vance and Hines classic slash cut w/billet end cap touring slip-ons.... makes my '07 Road King Classic look and sound great!

I installed V&H straight shots yesterday and I love them. They are pretty loud, and deeper than I expected, but I'm completely happy with the sound and sound level. They definitely drew a lot more attention than the stock pipes..... BTW, I'm only running with the nightrider IEDs right now, but I don't have any popping on decel at all.

Last weekmy HD dealer allowed me to test drive the Rush 1.75 baffles they installed on my 07 Heritage and afterwards, I decided to go with the 2.0 baffles, PCIII and K&N. The 1.75's had a nice tone at idle, but when on the throttle, the pitch was a little higher than what I was looking for. Just got the bike backyesterday and took it for a 2 hour ride. Awesome sound and performance! Deep, thick and meaty classic HD rumble at idle and cruise, and nice percussive bark when on the throttle. Exactly the sound I was looking for. It wasn't too loud - although that's subjective -no ringing ears after a 2 hour ride. Also, I did not get the dyno done - just the PCIII and high flow air filter and the bike ran very smooth - no misses, popping on decel etc. At this point, I'm very satisfied.

I've heard Stage 1 AC and High Flow Air Filter - is the High Flow Filter put in with the Stage 1 or is it separate - also would it be better to add a K&N filter?

Sorry for the newbie ?s - want to make the right purchases next week!

The SE Stage 1 A/C kit comes with a paper filter, as shown here. The kituse to come with washable K&N filter. At this point K&N does not make a replacement filter for the SE kit.
