Default Problem with my Motor 08 103"

On my way to the Stealer today to get my new wheels put on, it was a nice day for ride at first. When all of a sudden there is oil every where at 70mph. Got her whoaed up and stayed up and over to the side of the road safely.

So here is my question, I have an 08 FLHT with the SE 103" kit and something in the Lifter Block or head Gasket area let loose. has anyone heard of anything like this or is it just my luck ?

They thought it was a Misaligned Oil Pump at first and may well still be. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

I have heard of crankshafts slipping there wheels on the new bikes, causing the pinion shaft to wobble, and messing up oil pump alignment etc. I hope this isn't your problem, good news is you still have warranty. Keep us updated!!!

I agree, my bet is it ate the oil pump due to the sh!itty fake cranks there using.

Well, its an '08 so obviously its under warranty. I guess the dealer you were heading to is the one that did 103" big bore?

If the oil came out of the air cleaner I wouldthe oil pump is involved. If its a lot of oil it isn't pump alignment. If it is from the cylinder head area they probably didn't torque down the rocker box(s).

I am leaning in this direction myself. Thanks for the input
