Will the slip on's give me much more sound than stock? Is $350 a good price for new?

I'd go w/ the whole set up but I don't want to drop the $1000!

If 350 includes shipping, that is a very good price. I assume you are talking about the reverse cone megaphones? The style Iown have aluminum tips. I think they are now available with chrome tips, which look really nice. I'm running mine through Klockwerks Doubleback headpipes, which I was able to purchase cheaper than the Bassani Power curve setup. If you shop around you can probably find a good deal the would keep costs to around $700-800.
Yes, they are considerably "ballsier" than stock.
Theyhave a throaty sound at idle and bark real good when you crack the throttle. You won't be disappointed.
They are even louder if you go true duals. If you're into headers, I've heard the Bassani Road Rage 2-1 header and it sounds equally good. But the D&D Fatcats are the header of choice my most of the baggers in this forum.

Those aren't what I have, but I've heard them before and they sound sweet. I don't know if you're running anything else in your motor other than stock but they will sound great.
