Default Rush Slip On Touring Mufflers

OK so I've read alot about the popping with the Rush Slip Ons but what about the quality of construction and the quality of the chrome on these mufflers? Anybody have any problems with chrome discoloration or flaking? Thanks

I have Rush 1.75 and the finish is great. I also have never had any popping or backfiring, in 2800 miles that is.

TY cruiser.....not too loud? I was thinking of the 1.75" if I went with the Rush muffler.

How long have you had them on your bike? No problems with chrome?

2.25 rush on 2008 e/g classic. loud and some decel popping. quality good. just ordered 1.75 baffles to quieten it down a bit. 2.25 sound great but get old after 2-3 hours on hwy @ 75-80 mph

Sparky thanks for your input. Where did you order the baffles from and do you mind telling me how much they run$? Thanks

Rush 2.0. On second set, first one replaced under warranty (right side turned yellow where it connects to the header and about 3 inches back at around 500 miles). Second set is already starting to show signs of yellowing, albeit turning much slower than the first one did.

Thanks Slope. I guess your next set will not be Rush?

I've installed lots of 1 3/4 Rush mufflers and never had a discoloration problem so if you choose the Rush I run the 1 3/4. I've had 1.5s on my bikefor over 2 years and they still look new.
