JUST TOOK MY FIRST LONGERTRIP TODAY OF ABOUT 400 MILES ON 2008 ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC. JUST HAD HI FLOW, SE RACE TUNER AND RUSH PIPES INSTALLED. MILEAGE SUCKS....ABOUT 30 MPG. IS THIS RIGHT???. ANY FEEDBACK APPRECIATED...PS HAD DYNOED, ETC...

 

you should be getting way better than that I know it you get on it a lot you will get bad mpg's

 

Check your plugs. It sounds like you are running rich. I get 43 in town and 45 on the interstate as long as I stay below 80 mph. I have a 07 ultral classic with stage 1 done.

My guess is that your SERT is tuned way to rich. When I got a Power Commander and used the canned map they supplied, I had great power but my mileage sucked 28-30mpg.I took it to a trusted mechanic and asked him to dial it back a bit. Now I get closer to 40mpg. You may want to ask your dealer or whoever put your upgrades on what map is in the SERT and if they can dial it down a little to get you better mileage.

 

Well, I've got a 2001 FLHT with a Mikuni, big air, 95 ci. On the road I get about 38 if I stay below 70 mph. If I go over 75 we're talking 32 mpg. Plugs are fine. It's the bat wing I suppose.
