Default 07 & 08 Pipes on earlier years ?

Have an 03 Roadglide and want to install either a Tmax or Twin Tec. I want to change out pipes as well. Can I use the pipes designed for 07-08 with 02 sensor bungs install already on earlier years without fitment issues ?

Yes, I'd be interested in the answer to this as I've considered it myself!

I recently talked to someone at Tmax they said Rush was going to come out with a set of duals for the early models with the bungsalready installed.

The only difference I have heard so far is the mounting bracket for the rear pipe bolted to the top of the tranny. It's a bit different on the 07's up..
Any problem with that particular bracket NCCopBikeRider???

I plan on running a 2-1 so I'm not sure if the bracket your referring to would apply ? I'm wondering if the bracket you're referring to is because of the 6spd trans ? None the less I'd be curious to hear from NCCopBikeRider if he is running duals on the bracket situation.

The 07/08 pipes will fit, but they are made to go out around the 6 speed trans. Mounted on an older bike the pipe will stick out further and there will be a gap between pipe and trans. The pipes are easy enough to burn your leg on, I'd be careful about extending them out even further.

No bracket or leg burns
