Aloha one and all, Just wondering if anyone has installed a tach on a 06 softail, heard that the wire set-up is differant than the old way ( directly to the coil ). I would like to add a tach to my bike and would be greatful for any input.

 

According to the sheet that came with my tach (HD mini) 04 and later hook up the same way. Orange to power/ Black to ground/ Pink to signal located behind speedo.
