Also wasn't sureif it would fiton my '07 Softail a while back.
I was told that part no. 29592-05 is for bikes up to '07.
That's what I bought and it fits fine (comes with a rain sock included).
Number 29299-08 only fits the '08 models (from what I heard, the throttlebody diameter is somewhat different on the '08 models).
