Default Dave Mackie cams? Opinions?

I'm considering the Dave Mackie TC510G cam, seen here. Does anyone have any experience with Dave Mackie cams. His stuff is pretty highly respected here on the West Coast.

I have not heard anything negitive about Mackie.

I think he may fall into the dreaded "hot rod" harley guy catagory, and get a bad wrap from us tarmak weenies!

Well, he does hold a few records, as far as I know. I believe his cams are custom-cut by Andrews to his specs.

I have no personal experience with DM cams, but I've never heard anything negative about them. On the other hand, I have heard a few positives.

the dm cams are a pretty good cam designed to do what it was ment for. its a mild cam compared to a lot of other cams on the market.
its no match compared to a wood tw6 cam but also the wood cam is more expensive.
other cams to consider are the 37 ,T-man 525

OBP , try contacting My Garage in Ventura as they have quite a bit of experience with installing Dave Mackie parts of all types. I have been meaning to get over to talk to them and just have not made it...yet.
