I am getting ready to install a set of SE slip ons on my 2008 Ultra. Do anyone know if it is necessary to change the breather and remap the engine? I have been told yes and no. I do not want to damage anything , but I also do not care to spend the extra monies if not needed.

 

If the se pipes are the performance plus that harley came out with for 07-08 models then all you have to do is put them on. They will soung good and no other changes are needed. If you add the SE air cleaner then yes you must at least have the ECM remapped with the stage 1 download by the dealer. My 08 ran great with just the se slipons.
