Default SE 204 Cams

OK, I trust the opinion of a lot of people on here so here's my question. I want a little more low end power. Without going to a 95" upgrade, can I get away with just putting in SE 204 cams and SE ignition and wait until I have the money for the actual 95" upgrade? Will this give me what I want for now?

Yep, the 204's will work with your stock cr and give you a little boost. But the full potential will not come to pass until you do some headwork and a bore upgrade.

Dont waste your money on the SE ignition. If your going to do an ignition upgrade do either the S&S IST(best period), or the DTT TC88 module. SE igntions are a waste. Many of them are canned with no means for adjustments. You want a flexible ignition that can grow with you.

Absolute waste of cash for the money spent, and you need to be proficient at tuning and understand the software. DTT has more flexibility and is half the price and gives you the option of using software, or the basic on board dials to get a rough tune, which is really good for beginners. And the S&S IST takes out all the guesswork, as it self maps and learns the proper ignition curve for your bike. If I'm going to spend about $400 there is only one ignition worth looking at, the IST.
