Well, I got to say I put my stock V&H baffles back in and the low end power that I was missing seemed to be back. The bike seemed more responsive and felt like it had a little more low end grunt. Before I had nothing, like I was runing straight pipes. I think I will leave the Thunder Monsters out for now.

The bikes power "seemed" to be back. Many times a change in sound can be percieved as an increase in power. Most(99.9%) times thats not the case. There are alot of "claims" yet you will never see a legitimate dyno backing up the product. The few dynos I saw on the "thundermonsters" showed that they picked up almost no low end power while losing midrange and top end power on top. No thanks, snake oil product. Want a good performing pipe? Do the math and find out what length and diameter pipe would be optimal for your engine and its targeted powerband.
Adding a restrictive baffle or cone is not how you pick up power. You pick up power by having a pipe with properties that are beneficial to your engine combination. Baffles cannot compensate for improper length and pipe diameter.

So, what you are saying is that a set of V-H pipes with stock baffles will out perform the same pipe with the BCT baffles?
Here I was all set to dump the stock baffles on my Big Radius and install a set of Thundermonsters to gain a little power and a lot of sound.
Any other experiences or opinions out there??
Thanks.

RE: Thunder Monsters
I immediately felt a difference when I put the stock baffles back in the V&H's. I had reversed the position of the Thunder Monsters twice to see if I felt any changes in the bike. The only difference was in loudness, not power. And they are LOUD. The V&H are more tolerable and won't **** off my neighbors. If anybody is interested in a pair of BCT Monsters, PM me.
