I know this is something that is subjective & everyone rates exhaust sound & looks differently, but I’m gonna be that guy & post yet another question about it [sm=headbang.gif]

I have an 07 Road King Custom, SERT, K&N & Vance & Hines duals with Rush slip-no’s with 2” baffles. I’m not happy with the sound at all. Great quality & priced great for the performance they give but I really dislike the sound. They are too high pitched & sound tinny to me [sm=smiley21.gif]

I was thinking about putting on Thunder Headers but want to hear from others who have these or had them in the past.

I’m just looking for more opinions from others. I know I may take a pounding for this but I like a loud exhaust with the deepest low rumble I can get [sm=smiley15.gif]

I’m open to all suggestions and/or setups I may need to change in order to get a great sounding exhaust.

Rush makes larger baffles.....cheaper than new muffs!!!!!

 

IMOP Thunderheader's arethe best sounding slip-ons.... My Dad has them on his 02RK and the sound is awesome, and yes they are loud.

 

I'm hanging on to my Hooker Tuned-Flow slip-ons in case I ever go back to stock header pipes. For now it's 2-into-1s all the way!

 

I have to vote for the Thunderheaders. These have to be the best sounding pipes I've ever heard, and great performing pipes as well. 2-1 pipes are awsome.
