Default Samson pipes

Hi Everyone, new member here. I posted this in the soft tail section and got no response, so I thought maybe someone could give an opinion in this section. I am thinking of getting some pipes for my 02 fxst and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with the Samson Big Gun long slashers? If so, can you tell me if they were loud or had any performance gains?

Thanks

Roger

I dont consider Samson pipes to be a "performance" pipe. There really arent very many great pipes on the market for that matter, so dont take too much to my words on it. Just another showchrome pipe. They will no doubt perform better than stock EPA pipes, and may be to your taste in looks if thats what your looking for. Their build quality is OK, but I have seen much better pipes on the market that have better chroming and last longer. So take it for what its worth.

No problem Roger. Ever think about these guys?: www.bassanipipes.com One of the better pipe mfgs. available. Real good performers and you may like the looks, not everybody and their brother runs em either.

Thanks for the reply's, I like the Bassani pro street pipes, still going to keep looking, I want an older look, drag pipe with the baloney cuts........something like that, 'cept I don't want to run the straight pipes.

Thanks again guys
Roger

Roger, Pro-streets arent straight pipes, they do come with tuned baffles(actually 2 to choose from depending on your build), and they make a ton of power throughout the powerband.

Does the Bassani Pro Streets really out perform the Big Radius, and why?
My 95" stage II isn't finished yet, so I still have time to change my mind.
Thanks..
