06 StreetGlide exhaust

06 StreetGlide exhaust
I have a couple questions about some 06 ( streetglide ) and 07 ( screaming eagle ) exhaust that someone might be able to help with .
Do the 06's street glides have catylite converters in the slip-ons ? Are they in both sides ?
If they do have converters in the slip-ons , can the drill out modification still be done ?
Will earlier model slip-ons work with the drill out modification on an 06 .
A friend has screaming eagle slip-ons from an 07 Ultra Classic that he is letting me try out . He does not know the part #'s or what ones they are . I found these #'s on them 80537-07 and 80536-07 , but I could not find them in the catalog to see if they can work on an 06 streeglide .
The 06 streeglide is fuelinjected . If I do any changes to the exhaust with no other changes do I need a re-map?
Thank for any input

RE: 06 StreetGlide exhaust
The stock mufflers are catalyst(I would imagine both sides, but don't know for sure). I wouldn't even try to modify them,I've drilled pipes in the past and the touring ones always sound like a pop corn popper.
Any touring muffler from 95 to 08 will interchange, but if they're performance mufflers, you'll need a re-map or tuner and an air cleaner on 06 models. Unfortunatly just jetting the carb is a thing of the past, now it cost a serious buck to install a set of pipes.
