Default new '05 tc88b custom that won't fire/spark

hi - hope someone can help me!

I built a Yaffe framed, TC88B Harley motor custom (new 2005 carb motor). Its put together and it is all ready to go. All electrics work but it won't spark/start. Horn, lights, turn signals, brake lights. starter motor all work. I have a new Screamin Eagle ignition module for an '05 carb model. The coil is a working (supposedly) take off coil. I do NOT have a bank angle sensor. The SE ign module for an '05 has one, 12 pin connector. I used 11 of them; all except the "serial" input from the Turn Signal Module (which apparently houses the Bank angle sensor).

Question is; do I NEED a bank angle sensor input for the motor to spark?

Any suggestions on what to check first?

THe motor is new. THe crank position sensor is new and came with the motor.

Any help appreciated!

UPDATE: I GOT IT TO FIRE TODDAY WITH NO BANK SENSOR BUT IT WILL ONLY RUN FOR 3 - 4 SECONDS BEFORE THE SPARK STOPS. I GROUNDED THE WIRE WHERE THE BANK SENSOR WOULD GO AND I ALSO SPLICED IT INTO A 5 VOLT SUPPLY AND IN EITHER CASE THE BIKE WILL ONLY RUN FOR 3 - 4 SECONDS BEFORE THE SPARK STOPS.

I belive you will need all sensors

I had to "marry" the SE ignition box to the security system on my bike to get it to start.

However, i just had to plug in my Daytona twin teck and it fired right up!

hi - what year TC did you have where you could plug in a Twin Tech? Also, how did you "marry" the SE ignition? Thanks for the help so far..

I have a 2005 dyna.

I found the info in the 05 service manual.

It takes about 40 minutes to do the job, you have to jump though 3 hoops and wait 10 minutes between the settings to get it to work.

If your bike has no security module I would not know how to make it work.

I think you should scrap the SE ignition module and get the Daytona twin teck, which is known by other brands as the Crane Hi 4 or the Head Quarters 6100, or the Zippers programable ignition.

Then you will have no worries.
