Ok guys heres the deal. I'm having the dealer put some vance & hines big shots on my 2008 street glide.
Anyways they are saying that the frames on the 2008 bikes are wider then the 2007 bikes.
They say that the left hand pipe is to close to the side cover. And may melt the cover. I went and looked at it and it looked no diferent than the stock bike sitting next to it as far as it being to close.

Is there any truth to this or are they smoking something?
