SE II's on my Dyna, get quite a few comments on the sound. Not loud enough to make you go deaf, but puts a pretty rumble on it when you roll on the throttle

I have them on my Wide Glide. After using V&H, (sounded awful), Bassani Pro Streets, (Loved 'em but too loud) I put the SE's back on. Of course I drove a 1/2" pipe through 'em before I did.

From what I've been told, Super Trapp's SE series slip ons is the same as the old Screamin Eagle II's. The part guy said that they made them for harley.
Don't believe everything you're told. I have had the SE II slip ons and tried a set of the Super Trapp's SE series slip ons and took them off . The SEII's sound great but the ST SE slipons sounded bad IMO.

I cant find anything called a "SE" on the V&H site. Ill cruise ebay for them over the next few months but not too keen about buying parts off ebay.... no one on there seems to know what their parts fit! Ive seen the same part numbers used by guys to sell Sportster AND Softail pipes...

Who said anything about V&H SEs?...I re read every post and didnt see it...also,I bet the EBAYseller you refer to made a simple mistake,or maybe you did while reading it...one thing serious EBAY sellers do NOT want is an incorrect description of their items...bad feedback will put them out of business quickly...:&gt

I've been looking into getting a set of my own quite honestly. I had been playing around with the pipes in my avatar for a month or so, in and around my hometown. I put my stock pipes back on for a trip out to AL to see my gal and I had forgotten what it was like to have tolerable noise and decent power. I'm now looking at some slip on's or those V&H short sraggereds with a the fuelpack.

I was told KhromeWerks slip-ons are exactly the same as SE's in all types and applications. Not sure if its true.

The SuperTrapp SE's (part # 128-65115) are the same as the discontinued SE IIs (part # 65115-98B) I have the SE IIs on my Road King. Love the sound but they can get a little annoying at highway speeds, especially on a long trip.

Anyone have any idea why the right side pipe would be louder than the left? I have V&H duals so I would think they should be the same.

The Supertrapp SE slip-on's ARE the pre-2007 H-D SE slip-on's. A freind told me this so I called Supertrapp and they verified it. They look great, sound nice, and with an air cleaner and PCIII, they add a nice bump in performance.

Ah i didnt know that Dooley, thanks for the info. So instead of trying to track down some NOS or used SEII's i should look for some other slip ons.
