Sounds like the huevos are governored, not the Fuel injection system.....

Hell yeah it can. We have a 2008 EGC and we don't even use 6th gear unless we're going 80mph+. You canprobably get above 100mph.

try shifting it past third.............. my '07 road glide will do 120 with ease

had my 06 dyna lowrider to 113....anything over 85 on my bike it it is just too much work hanging on....i have been 140 on an old honda supersport years ago

I ride the highway at 100 with the cruise control on and only one hand on the bars.................smooth as glass. Had it at 120 quite a bit also, still very smooth and safe feeling.

OK, so what did you modify to get the cruise to stay on past the factory set 85 mph limit?

Haven't been over 105 on my '06 Road King, but since the Stage I upgrade, it gets there very easy and there is more left. 95 pre-Stage I was the highest before that and it took it awhile to reach that.

I don't know about the big twins, but the Sportsters have a manual screw that you turn that can hold the throttle on at any speed you want.

DTT TCFI Wego IID system

It must have got rid of the cruise control limit since the stock ECM is gone. It kinda surprised me when it kept going past 85 and set at 100 and held there. Just another advantage of the DTT system.

Soooo should my friends bike's go faster? like 120? remember they are bone stock,with a dealer doing all maintenance. I think they are up to date with service. I know some go faster. But somthing different with those years? Think they have problems that need addressing??? thanx all!!! Russ

I dunno about you but my bikes will go right past 100 without a problem. Never heard of a speed guvn'r on a bike before...
