I'm starting the search for pipes to replace the stock ones on my '06 Dyna Street Bob. I plan on going to as many rides and rallys as I can to see what the different ones look and sound like. But what I won't be able to tell is which ones are trouble. I will let you guys define trouble for me.

What pipes should I avoid?

 

The pipes that come to mind first that are a pain in the 6 are the SE two into ones with the tunable baffels. They are Super Trapp and are good quality but are not a good sound for a Harley. They're a good performance set of pipes but some other manufacturers have better 2 into 1' s - that is, if that look is where you were headed....2cents.

That's one set down!

 

Might wanna post this in the Dyna forum, probably get more responses. That said, I wouldn't take another set of Samson pipes if they were free. I should've listened to the warnings but I didn't.
