I've had Python Dual Staggered pipes for 4 years on by Wide Glide and no cop ever gave me a ticket even when I was next to them at a red light. I got pulled over Sunday in Santa Barbara and recieved a ticket for open exhaust. Does this mean I HAVE to remove my pipes and put on the originals and remap or can I just pay a fine and leave them on.? Have any of you guys been in this situation before?

 

Denver has invoked a loud pipe law - I have the pythons and really like the sound...a bit noisy.....I haven't gotten stopped yet - but I take it easier than I used to before the law....500$ is a LOT for a loud bike. Fuggers should focus on the crackhead theifs in my area rather than a loud motorcycle.

 

I don't know the case in Santa Barbara, but I got one down here in Los Angeles and I swapped the pipes, paid $15, had it inspected and put on the new LOUDER pipes I got. WTF is happening in the world. Ticket those goddamn LOUD rap music cars, not me...

 

Around this part of Jersey, they don't bother you much with that stuff. But down southern Jersey I hear they are pretty strict......they should be more concerned with other high priority things such as speeders, drunks, etc...leave us alone, we're just out to cruise!
