Khrome Werks Baffles

Tti
[QUOTE=Yookdew;21669144]I went ahead and ordered the DK Customs TTI'a to give them a try. After reading a lot of reviews of the different baffles made by Khrome Werks, I think it will lower the volume more than I want and I'm not sure I will like the tone. For now, I still have the stock headpipe with the CAT so these mufflers aren't real loud even without baffles.
I'll report back once I have the TTI's installed and see how they do with bringing back the low end torque and how they sound.[/QUOTE

DK TTIs work fantastically! They eliminated the off-idle torque dip when I had them installed in Reaper's V&H Straight Shots. They only lower the volume slightly, and give the exhaust a deeper tone.
Another option is the Khrome Werks HP-Plus Drag anti-reversion "dogballs" baffles. I've used those as well, and they do the same job, with a unique exhaust note, especially on decel, which I really dig!
Cheers!

A few weeks ago, I had Reaper tuned at Hillside, and had them do a side by side comparison of the dog ***** baffles, and DK Customs TTI-158. The TTIs wiped the floor with the baffles. The baffles had that off-idle torque dip typical with 2 into 2 drag pipes (the point of the "*****" in the baffles is to eliminate that, which they fail miserably at), and the TTIs virtually eliminated it. The difference was over 10 ft-lbs at around 2800 RPM, and boy I can tell you: you FEEL that difference!
The only downside to the TTIs is that they did lower the peak HP by around 8 HP, and maxed it out about 300 RPM earlier. That was when they're installed straight up. They played around with angling them, and got a good result at around 45 degrees. Slightly lower max numbers, with a slight torque dip (more like leveling off - it hits 120 ft-lbs at 2300 RPM, stays there until 3000 RPM, then builds to over 130 ft-lbs by 3800 RPM), but WAY more usable for the way I ride. When cruising on the highway, I'm usually at 3000 RPM, then I just twist the throttle to pass or whatever, and she launches!
Needless to say, I have the TTIs installed for good, now.
Cheers!
