Hi everyone....I now have the stage one done on my 2004 Carb Heritage Classic and they used the SE Air Cleaner and Vance and Hines Big Shot Longs. I did a search but I am still not sure which K&N Air Cleaner I can use to replace the SE Air Cleaner that the dealer used? And is it just the air cleaner you replace nothing else?

The K&N filters can be cleaned and oiled again with a kit that K&N sells (look in Google and you'll find it). This filters, in normal conditions, must be cleaned once a year and with this unless you see the filter is damaged, it's not necessary to replace them as you do with the HD filters.

Look for any reference number in the filter and compare it with the references K&N has in his web page.

You can just clean them, if there is damage to it you can replace.

 

I'm not sure, but i think this may be a better answer to your question, i had to read it twice after reading the whole thread....lol. maybe its me but are you asking what K&N filter will replace your SE Filter? If it is i added this link maybe it will help......[]

That is the answer I was looking for Archer1968...I want to replace the SE air cleaner that they put in my stage one with the K&N air cleaner. I do not want the full K&N kit just the air cleaner.
