Geez, not another exhaust question
Sorry folks, just don't want to make an expensive mistake. I want to put V&H straight shots on my wide glide. Considering these do not have a cross over tube like my stock pipes, what will the consequences be? I currently have SEII's on and I am happy with the performance but really like the V&H sound. Can anyone tell me about your experiences?

RE: Geez, not another exhaust question
I've got the straightshots on my Sportster, and I love 'em. Added the quiet baffle, which cuts some of the bark...doesn't make 'em quiet, but keeps people from throwing tomatoes...
Engine is otherwise stock, and I noticed a bit more power, and no obvious negatives. I've got plans to open up the intake a bit in the future, and at that time I may have to rejet, but pipes alone caused no issues. There's something about duals causing loss of torque, but I'm not conversant with the reasons, so I don't know if that applies to this type of pipe.
Good luck on your choice! Enjoy the ride.
