Does anybody know if the round Harley "Nostalgia" Air Cleaner cover will fit a Ness Big Sucker? Said it fits Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner, but it looks universal. Would like to save afewbucks with the big sucker.

 

yes, the nostalgic cover will fit. I have a doherty PowerPACC, and the nostalgic cover was what I was going to use for a cover..... But I ran into some quirks as far as finding the right one..... 29138-91 has a notch on the top that is pretty noticeable and exposes the filter. It is so the CV carb fits behind it I believe is what it's for. 29136-91 does NOT have the notch and is a full round cover and probably the one you want, but I've come to realize is hard to find unless you order it online. 29136-91 is soon to be discontinued, but is probably the nostalgic cover that you want since the notch really is not needed as far as I can tell with the thicker filters. I know for sure the doherty powerpacc hangs out there far enough to not come anywhere near needing that notch. I ended up going with the smooth round 29153-07. I would prefer the nostalgic but my powerpacc came in on a friday and no HD dealer in the southeast had a 29136-91 nostalgic and I didn't want that notch on the top, so I gave in and just got the smooth cover. It has cut outs on the bottom for airflow and looks pretty good, so I'm happy.
