Default Very mild decel popping with Fuelpak

Just did the Stage I with Rinerhart slip-ons, Fuelpak and hi-flo. Bike runs great. I am getting a little decel popping at around 20-30 mph. It is mild and not loud popping or backfiring. I checked the muffler clamps and they are fine. I used permatex copper when installing the slip-ons as well. Is this anything I should worry about??? Should I call V&H and see if they have any suggestions on setting changes?? Or should I leave well enough alone??? It isn't like it bothers me or anything.

they will tell you to make sure you completely let off the throttle when decel.

Actually I went ahead and gave them a call. They said change "Mode 23" to 15. I did a little searching on the "Mode 23" and some people have been told to change it to 15 and others to 50. I guess if the 15 doesn't work I'll try the 50. If that doesn't I'll put it back to 16 and deal with it.

I havethe factorydownload and get a bit of decel popping but I am not concerned as it seem pretty commonplace.

Make sure there are no exhaust leaks. If you RE-USE any of the existing muffler clamps, you run the risk of air leakage, causing the back-firing on deceleration. The clamps are not designed to be re-useable. It happened to me. Try replacing your muffler clamps, check all connections for a good seal. Muffler clamps are a cheap fix. After that, you will need to probably re-tune which ever fuel management unit you are using.
