Anyone running Fuelmoto baffle inserts in RinehartDBX40’s?
Current set up is stock 2020 M8 with DBX40 slip-ons. Not unhappy with performance as I ride solo, but if some torque is good, more is better.
I’m not planning on additional performance upgrades till I’m out of warranty in a year.
How did your FM baffle inserts affect performance, and sound, and did they require adjustment?
Thanks in advance.

I have DBX45s, but I'm not sure the inserts will do anything except make it quieter since you have the stock catted head pipe. Talking with Fuel Moto, they recommended either inserts with an open head pipe, or NO inserts with the stock head pipe. However, the inserts with open head pipe vs. no inserts with stock head pipe may be a different story since mine is cammed, aired, and tuned.
The M8 REALLY needs a cam to do any good, I recommend waiting for a cam and/or other upgrades to go further with the exhaust.
Then again, drop Fuel Moto the question at their Contact Us. They respond very quickly and will give you excellent advice for your desires. https://www.fuelmotousa.com/contact.html
