I probably wouldn’t have put a 2-1 on if I couldn’t get a tune. So I went ahead with these last winter but the my local independent retired. So I had to get a dumpier and tune it myself.
I love the look it’s exactly what I wanted on my stock ‘03 88”. I ve already changed the stock y pipe once so stuff happens.
i found it a little too harsh at first but as I’m getting the tune closer I’m also happy with the sound it’s less harsh while still having a deep rumble. Very loud when you open it up.
I’ve got over 5 k so far no problems.
very happy.

Well back to the research for some new slip ons

 

FWIW to those wondering, I've used both their slip ons and a full 2-1 system on my 23 FLTRX

I've been on the fence about what full system I wanted so I ran the slip ons for a while, then got a 2-1 from them. IMO the full system is junk, the headers feel very cheap but they've held up so far since I put the system on in ?May?, with about 12k miles since then. I definitely didn't feel any power gains compared to past 2-1s I've used either. The black finish on the muffler is quickly wearing out and it's starting to get rust spots. Hoping I'll finally have my mind made up this winter for a full system.

IMO the slip ons are fine, I had chrome ones as my OEM headers were chrome. The finish held up pretty well for the year I had them on and they're plenty loud if that's what you're going for. IMO the full system is not worth it though.
