I have a ? about The choke. Does the Mikuni work like the Harley carb? (Out-Half in- Shut). Or is it Out and In?

I have the same carb. You should be able to pull it allthe way out, then push it half way in to lower the rpm as it ewarms up, then push it all the way in to close it. There should be just a little play in the cable at the choke **** before you can pull it out. If not, the choke can be sticking open...it can be adjusted at the cable adjuster on the choke cable near the carb. Dont know if this answers you question?
