Default LEAKDOWN TEST ?????

Doc or any of you motorguys

What is an acceptable leakdown in %. When you do this test??

The bike has 3000 miles on the build and I think the oil consumption is a little to much for me.

Thanks in advance!!!

Default RE: LEAKDOWN TEST ?????

For most sreet engines it's generally said that 10% leakage is the limit. And I thought (but I'm not sure) that each cylinder should be within 2% of eachother.

Read this (if you haven't already).
