I put rush slipons w/2 in. baffleson my 07 wide glide 8 months ago and was content.
After riding with my buds and getting drowned out I decided to modify my baffles as a test before I tried BCT's.
I cut the end off, cut off half the perferated tube and re welded the end on.
similar in apperance to bct's wothout the lollypop.Ionly rode around the block, but my wife said they sound better.
Cost me an hour and some beer. I will post some pic's when I get a chance.

I amwondering if you lost any back pressure by cutting down the baffle to a shorter one? Does the bike run about the same now versus when the baffles were longer? Just trying to get info B4 I take on projects.

Bike seems to like it, It was running strong all day with no popping, plus it now sounds the way I want without dropping bucks on an exhaust.
