Default Big Sucker I or II ?

The only mods to my 01 heritage are V&H long shots. It has a carb.Would I benefit by going with a Stage II or would the Stage I be plenty?

Unless your going to do engine work; heads, jugs, cams; a stage one with a rejet should be fine. I believe a stage two BS will cause the filter cover to extend out further, ifknee clearance it an issue, you may want to keep that in mind. A stage two will not hurt anything, but a stock 88 is only capable of pulling so much air. Just make sure to address the jets whatever you do.

Stage 1 is plenty for most stock engines, it flows 200 cfm. The Stage 2 flows 250 cfm and is good for some bigger builds.

Also, with the Stage 2 filter you won't be able to use the stock football cover.
