Default Buell exhaust on a 2000 Sportster

Came across a picture on Google images after doing another unrelated search and it was of a Sportster with a buell exhaust header on it with the Y pipe cut off for which I assume the owner was going to make a custom exhaust off of it.
My question is since my current exhaust interferes with my rearsets which buell header fits on a 2000 Sportster heads?
Straight bolt onto the studs. Love the way they look at I will cut and weld to the desired look and clearance.
I came across a couple of old threads about such a subject but very little info was obtained from them.
One of which was the fact that they will hit the front down tubes of the frame that buells don't have which I understand and know what I will do there to avoid that.
Just want to know what year and model bolts up to my heads.
First pic of the red bike is the one I found on Google images and a forum and the other is my bike with my current predicament with my exhaust and brake lever

The buell xb models used a hopped up sportster motor and so does the m1 & m2 tubers like the 99 cyclone
M2 cyclone

Newer xb

So any xb, m1 or m2 cyclones that have 1 exhaust off each head will work then?
Any particular years to look for

I'm not sure I'll look at my xb and sportster when I get home see if they mount the same. As far as I know the buells were just a fixed up sportster in a fancy frame

Just from looking at buell exhausts headers that go to either side of the heads they look very dam similar
Just seems like all the ones I look at on eBay all are early 2000s headers
Like 07,08,09 etc
I don't care to pull the trigger on them without being absolutely sure
I would appreciate if you can look for me seeing as it looks like you have some to match up

Where it curves under the engine would probably hit the frame on a sportster

That part I have figured from the extensive searching I did most people said the same thing
From pictures I have seen the curve starts at the ypipe connecting the 2 exhaust. That's where I would cut off the Y pipe and go from there
So that way I have a little leeway with 2 separate pipes

That's more true of the tubular framed Buells than the XBs, which have many special parts, including the heads, with down-draught inlet ports. Not sure the exhaust ports look any different. Comparing the two photos rhino posted we can see that the XB pipes are shorter before they are siamesed.

The exhaust ports at the are all the same. All of the different pipes will fit the head port. You are just going to have to make the rest fit to your satisfaction. An important side note for you, just because the system that you make fit, looks and sounds cool, does not mean that the engine will make power gains. You might lose hp and tq depending on more factors than i care to list here. Just something to keepup in mind.
