Hi, I got my first Harley 1998 883XL. Everything now is stock. I'm think of combine a Screaming Eagle II Exhaust & a Spike Air Cleaner. I'll beinstalling the parts myself and send to workshop for turning.

Can anyone share their experience to me.Are these twocombine be ok for 883XL? Will the air intake more than it need? The spike air cleaner is rotatable. If direct postition the air cleaner toward the front will have too much air intake, can I say that I can rotate it point the back to a try?

 

Hi, does anyone come acrossSpike Air Cleaner that fix CV carbs (those sharp end point). I do not want to spent unnessary cost to purchase the adapter.

 

That combo should be fine if it's properly tuned/jetted afterward. My air intake is pretty open (I don't know if you can see it in the pic) and it runs just fine.
