Default RBR LSR 2-1 Exhaust installation

To all;

I've got everything ready to do the install on my LSR 2-1. However, whenI read the "manual" it says to assemble the exhaust system and tighten all mounting hardware "finger-tight". Once this is accomplished it says to start with the front cyclinder head flange nuts. "Tighten the upper nut to 9-18 inch-lbs, then tighten the lower nut to 120 inch-lbs. [Then] Tighten the upper nut to 120 inch-lbs." The same sequence is used for the rear cylinder head flange nuts. I always thought you tightened (torqued) all the fastenersin stages and then torqued the cyclinder head flange nuts to their final torque value as the last step? Am I wrong or does it really matter?I also thought you had to use Anti-Seize on the exhaust port studs??The "manual" did not mention a word about it. How about it Tech Gurus, what's the straight skinny?

I did mine just like you wrote above. I did not use any anti-sieze. I read somewhere else on here not to do so.

The straight scoop is to do it like the manufacturer tells you to because they know more about their own product than any of us.
