RBR LSR 2-1 Exhaust installation
To all;
I've got everything ready to do the install on my LSR 2-1. However, whenI read the "manual" it says to assemble the exhaust system and tighten all mounting hardware "finger-tight". Once this is accomplished it says to start with the front cyclinder head flange nuts. "Tighten the upper nut to 9-18 inch-lbs, then tighten the lower nut to 120 inch-lbs. [Then] Tighten the upper nut to 120 inch-lbs." The same sequence is used for the rear cylinder head flange nuts. I always thought you tightened (torqued) all the fastenersin stages and then torqued the cyclinder head flange nuts to their final torque value as the last step? Am I wrong or does it really matter?I also thought you had to use Anti-Seize on the exhaust port studs??The "manual" did not mention a word about it. How about it Tech Gurus, what's the straight skinny?
