Default Cracked Exhaust Pipe

Earlier this week a friend of mine stopped by with his 1996 FLHT (Electra Glide Standard) to have both his tires swapped out. We were very careful removing the right rear muffler, but it seems as though he now has a slight crack in the right rear exhaust pipe (65626-95). Can we just use JB Weld high heat epoxy on this or do we need to get this welded? When I re-attached the muffler, I used copper anti-seize on the connection. My friend wasn't sure if he used anti-seize in this area in the past.

Get it welded right the first time and save your self some time and aggravation...not to mention after the j.b. junk fails it will be a pain to clean it off to weld it. Good luck with the bike

jp weld high heat, naw, muffler patch would last longer
mr. b shoots from the hip, get it welded as the crack can continue one which leads to the point to stress relieve the crack before welding or it could spider crack.
