Rinehart Customer service sucks
Hey folks, I'm coming on here to bitch and moan about customer service of the Rinehart Muffler Company.
I purchased replacement slip-ons for my 09 Street-Glide, through a dealer, the dealer stated he would have to call his guy at Rinehart, which he did,
the company Representative stated I will send those pipes out later this afternoon, (Friday) or first thing Monday, the dealer called me back and told me the details,
fast forward 3 weeks later, I called the dealer and said HEY, where's my pipes, he was nice and said I'll call you right back, which he did, and told me this story,
I called Rinehart, talked to my guy he said your pipes won't be shipped till July 20th, I said really, that's seven weeks from when I ordered them, then the dealer guy told me, think that's bad the 3-1/2 pipes won't be shipped till August, I'm thinking either Rinehart is doing a tremendous business or their in trouble financially! my thoughts are on the latter.
Anyone else have delivery issues with Rinehart pipes, can anyone tell me if they are part of a larger corporation? if so are the listed on the NYSE?
I'm trying to see if I need to cancel my order and go with another product. I've liked Rinehart, but like Vance & Hines, which has been sold several times, and had manufacture facilities shut down in the past 18 months, I don't want a product that will not be around in a year or two. All comments are welcomed.
