Default S&S slip on mufflers

I have a 99 dyna wide glide. I was thinking about the S&S slip on mufflers and maybe the kit with air breather and jet kit. Has anyone used these? Where you happy with the sound and performance? Thanks.

WGDan...I've never personally used the S&S but I know a few guys who have them and they love them. They have a very deep rumble and are kinda loud. Louder than say a Screamn' Eagle II. I seriously considering using S&S on my bike by they did not make the tapered style I wanted so I went with Khrome Werks which I ordered yesterday. The guys in my service dept also really liked the S&S and suggested them to me. I think you will be happy with them. Hope this helps ya out a little....Good luck!

Got'em on my dyna I like the sound , it's deep at an idle , not too cracklely and I would say medium loud when you get on it hard.

The S&S mufflers are the best muffler you can get for PERFORMANCE. I use them, and got them because I wanted power, and I knew the sound would come anyway......[&:]

you made a good decision!

Try adjusting the carb as is.....if that dosent work, then buy a couple of jets in close proximity and start trying them out! In my experience every bike is different, every situation, i.e. elevation, humidity, etc. I wish I could just give you a quick answer, unfortunately, with carbs there just isn't one![&o]

P.S. I did a product review on both my S&S mufflers and my big sucker air cleaner either under Dynaglides or product reviews!
