Default Newbie slip on install??

I am picking up my first bike tommorow anew night train. My Rush slip ons just came in the mail today. I am planning on installing these tommorow night or thursday. I opened the box and there is absolutely nothing in there but the slip ons. Including any helpful directions or at least one of those shitty diagrams. Is it really that easy? Any tips on how to take off the old ones and put these ones on would be awesome.
THANKS!

yeah it is pretty simple . loosen clamp and undo the bolts connecting the slipons to frame ( underneath ) slip off original. put new ones on .. you shouldn't have to worry about any type of sealing as it should work as a dry seal . enjoy grzly

Grzly has it about right for changing out the slip-ons, but you might want to check out this thread about sealing the pipes.

new bike, pipes and, obviously, clamps when I put my slipons on "dry". original clamp seemed to workwell without need of a bead. I s'pose you can always take off again if you find leakage. done 1000k's on them now and no problems.
