Hi I have a '15 Heritage with a stage ! kit installed. Extreme billet ventilator air cleaner and Screaming Eagle exhaust. I want to change out the exhaust for V&H big shots long 2 into 2 full exhaust. Will I need to retune my bike as I would like to retain as much power as I have now and keep fuel mileage the same or better. Is there anything to expect from doing this, other than popping from exhaust on deceleration. Any help with this would be appreciated.

 

You should retune. You can expect it to run better that way. Then again, if you're using the dealer download and not a tuner with more capability to adjust it probably won't matter much.

 

That is the consensus of everybody I've talked to with suggestions of try out the pipes before spending more on a tuner but whatever needs to be done. I may also have an opportunity to have it dyno tuned so thanks for your input.
