i have black Wyatt Gatling exhaust on my 2014 FXDBP that I bought this past July. The heat shields are still a nice dark black, but the muffler has started to gray a little. No one close to ceramic coat so I’m looking at painting. I heard VHT starts to gray after a short time. What about Rustoleum high temp? Suggestions welcomed.

 

vht is a superior product but use the primer also. all i used the rustoleum on is my chiminea and although it does last, it is not perfect either. i have my 74ch 1 3/4 drags blacked out with vht, no issue with graying but it isn't and will not be a sprayed. you must do some run in cycles to cure it, makes a big dif if you do not.
