Default TC Air Cleaner Cover

I did a search for different kinds of covers for the TC88. I have K&N High Flow up grade but want to find something different for the outer FootBall cover. Any suggestions or web links. Love the S&S look but it is my understanding that it is not a bolt on option. Any help would be great.
Thanks,

Is there any nicer looking alternative to the "football" that would still offer protection to the air cleaner element from direct rain exposure? Sometimes I ride in the rain.[sm=gears.gif] Its the only way I can do a burnout!

Even with your SE air filter and Foot Ball cover you are exposed to the rain....the rain will pass through the motor and out the exhaust so your burn outs can really look good...lol

Go on CCI or Drag Specialties, etc and see what they have.

I used a trim piece as the only cover. Then I got a chrome evo cover and put a black insert on it and put the trim piece over that so now I have a neat looking cover

I like the flamed air cover. I am just curious about the quality and time of delivery.

Do A search on internet for "outerwears filter covers". They make rain covers for the filter that will still let you run 60mph and keep the rain out. Any faster and starve for air but who runs faster than 60 in a pouring down rain. Wads up the size of an egg.

Hey Doc,

Isn't the fact that your opening up the filter really what gives you the increase?

Here is some info on the Outerwears pre-filter. Mine should be here in a day or two. I'll post pics with it installed. If the weather forecast holds true, it may get tested this weekend.
