Does the Thudermax void your warranty if there is an engine problem?

Even their web site is unclear as it gives an example related to wheel bearings.

Can sombody that is truly informed please respond.

Do any of the after market systems void the warranty? What about the comments that they are not legal in states with pollution monitoring?

 

A big simple YES it does void it

 

Keep the stocker....Thats what I am doing. I am keeping ALL stock stuff incase I have to run it back through the DMV and whatnot.

I paid for the extended warranty and want to be able to use it should I need to do so.

 

HD will not warrant that setup unless your dealer turns a blind eye.If they installed it for you,you may have a better shot.Other wise you may have to remove it each time your bike visits the dealer.But Im sure that is tracable also.HD expects you to do the testing for them this yr.Better play by their rules!Esp since you have extra tied up in service plan.

 

It would void the warranty for something related to the TM but if it was say for something non-related to your modification its not so clear. Maybe maybe not.
