Default Vance and Hines baffles

Hey guys,
I am currently running Vance and Hines short shots with the standard baffles on my 2017 street bob. Just wondering if installing the quiet baffles would help improve torque at all because of the added back pressure? Also would the quiet baffles help get rid of some of the decel popping. Any advice is much appreciated. Thx

No and no. The quiet baffles will drop the volume a couple of DB's, not much at all. As for the popping you need to tune your bike, assuming you do not have any intake/exhaust leaks...

This. It lowers the DBs slightly and takes out the "tinny" highs so it sounds more "throaty"...I have them and I like the sound better with them. Still pretty loud though.

Like what hockey said, no and no. Don't listed to those people that start talking about decibels and other technobabble. The quiet baffle is not desirable quieter! If you don't like the regular baffle you won't like the quiet baffle unless 2% will make a difference to you.

I have the short shot stagered on my Iron with the quiet baffles. For the "noise" I would not recommend them because I hardly notice a difference but there is def more backpressure.

You may consider chatting up the crew at DK Customs. They've been real responsive for me.

I have Python "Throwbacks" (by V&H) with the quiet baffles. They do cut the tinny highs so they sound a bit quieter to my ears and have a much better sound.
