Right (in most cases). 2 different pairs of slip ons and went to Crusher Mellows last year. She says it is louder. I can't win

CFR's will be louder and still have a really deep tone to them. You will lose a little low-end with them but you could use some torque cones or a lollipop to address that. I have them on my 18 FLTRU but they are the 16 and older style. They are too loud for my liking, will be changing to a D&D billet cat soon and these will go up for sale. LOL

the older 3.5 inch Rineharts were very loud and have a good tone.
